Golden Pencil Manila Events and Production Inc. (“Golden Pencil”) recognize their responsibilities under the Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, with respect to the data they collect, record, organize, update, use, consolidate, disclose, transfer and subsequently dispose from their clients and customers. The personal data obtained from all transactions are entered and stored within the company’s authorized information and communications system and will only be accessed by authorized Golden Pencil personnel. Golden Pencil has instituted appropriate organizational, technical and physical security measures to ensure the protection of the client’s personal data.
Furthermore, the information collected and stored by the Unit shall only be used for the following purposes: 1. Product and process improvement to optimize the services of Golden Pencil based on the data gathered from the website 2. Announcements or promotions of brands, products, events, programs, and other activities offered/organized by the Golden Pencil and its partners. Golden Pencil shall not disclose the client’s personal information without their consent, except for disclosures that may be made pursuant to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other applicable laws, and shall retain this information over a period of ten years for the effective implementation, management, and performance evaluation of the purposes stated above.
As a client partner of Golden Pencil, I accept and express my understanding of the restrictions and limitations of the company to collect, record, organize, update or modify, retrieve, use, consolidate, block, erase, transfer, disclose or dispose of the clients’ data as part of their information. I hereby recognize the customers’ right to be informed, object to processing, access and rectify, suspend or withdraw their personal data, and be indemnified in case of damages pursuant to the provisions of the Republic Act No. 10173 of the Philippines, Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its corresponding Implementing Rules and Regulations.
