TGP KAIBIGAN SA KALUSUGAN:

BRGY. MEDICAL MISSION

THE CHALLENGE

From 2019 to 2022, TGP conducted the Biyaheng TGPagpagaling Caravan, a community program in partnership with LGUs. The caravan included free onsite medical consultations and distribution of free medicines for LGU constituents.

For 2023, TGP wanted to rebrand the caravan, making it bigger and more impactful, bringing it to more than 23 priority barangays nationwide over a period of six months. The aim was to reach 1,500 people and to get at least 500 constituents in each targeted barangay to attend the medical mission, therefore, reinforcing the image of TGP as their Kaibigan sa Kalusugan.

For this new campaign, Golden Pencil was tasked to do end-to-end event implementation, including concept/creative development, coordination with LGUs, venue, partner doctors, suppliers and other external stakeholders.

BAYANIHANG MEDIKAL
KAIBIGAN SA KALUSUGAN: BARANGAY TOUR

Central to the preparations for this campaign were the feet-on-street
promotions,
which were house-to-house visits to personally invite
families to the medical mission. These efforts effectively created
awareness and interest in Bayanihang Medikal and TGP products
among the community.

The promotions also included distribution of privilege cards with
occasional free medicine samples, and running a recorida—that time-
tested means of generating interest among the communities by using a
catchy jingle, and entertaining spiels.


In addition to mounting every run from fabrication to setup, the team
also assisted in sourcing medical professionals to partner with.

On event day, GP oversaw the registration of participants, ensured the
smooth conduct of the lay forum, pre-screening and medical
consultations, dispensing of medicines, and games. 
In each of the 23 runs, GP reached an average of 2,300 people through
on-the-ground promotions, and drew some 800 to 1,000 people to the
medical missions, exceeding the target of 500 attendees.

The success of this campaign not only strengthened the brand of TGP
as the Filipinos’ “Kaibigan ng Kalusugan”, but also showed the kind of
impact this initiative has on local communities. More than the brand
recall, these efforts championed the value of good healthcare that
every Filipino family deserves through free health services and
medicines.
